Tarrytown Celebrates Halloween With Annual Parade

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Ghosts, ghouls, and goblins were out in full force in Tarrytown Saturday.

The village held its annual Halloween parade Saturday, which was attended by over 5,000 people. The parade featured 14 floats, marching bands and people decked out in their Halloween best. Village Historian Henry Steiner was the grand marshall and the Headless Horseman also made an appearance.

The prizes were:

Best float : Transfiguration School, Sponge Bob

Best Child: Baby Pirate

Best Adult: Swan Princess

Best Group: Walter’s Hot Dogs

Best in Show: Day of the Dead Family
